National Ovarian Cancer Coalition’s (NOCC) mission is to find the cure for ovarian cancer and help improve the lives of the survivors. It is the Philanthropy for all chapters and colonies of Alpha Sigma Rho. Each semester, we make it a goal to host charity events to raise awareness and money for their foundation. With NOCC’s commitment to the advancement of ovarian cancer research, ASR finds it important to support a philanthropy that gives so much back to the community.

"Teal is the awareness color for ovarian cancer and by displaying it across the United States, we hope to increase the public’s understanding about this deadly disease. Since there is no early screening test for ovarian cancer, it is imperative that al people recognize the signs and symptoms of the disease. Early detection saves lives.” - NOCC
